Eating Out

Both grandparents came up to eat out (outside) with us while we were camping.  The girls were so excited to show off their diggs and play with their grandpas and grandmas.  We made this awesome dutch oven chicken dinner and just salad and fruit and yummy cookies with frosting, yummmmmm!
This man has skills!

They look like a marshmellow pyramid!

We had a fire and roasted marshmellows and had smores.  It was a perfect night with our loved ones.

Take a Hike

I got a realy work out with this backpack on, I felt pregnant again,
but it was easier to carry him!
When we were camping, we took a little hiking trip, the hiking you can do with kids.  It was a fun adventure.  We got up early, ate doughnuts, and donned our jackets with the chill in the air!  Steve has been up to North Willow a few times with the scouts, so he just wanted to show us all the different camping spots.  I think Jonas enjoyed being out and walking, the girls loved exploring and it gave us nice memories!
Kiana had many shoe issues, talk about drama!
It was such a pretty area.
The girls were afraid to get in the water at first.
Maile was the first to take the plunge!
My journey in life, I am fortunate enough to take these guys along!

Camping Adventures

We have been waiting all summer to have 2 days off in a row.  The week his grandma died, he got bereavement and finally had 2 days off together.  It took all summer, and once school started, it finally happened.  We took advantage of it, got the pop-up trailor from his parents, and went to North Willow in Grantsville.  It was so beautiful and we got a perfect spot.  We were surrounded by water like a pennisula.  The girls were able to play in the cool stream, it was out of the way, and quiet!  The spot had a deep incline and we were very worried about getting out, but that would come later, we just enjoyed our time together!!

Playing Uno.  Kiana loves this game.

It is nicer and easier to camp in this thing!!

We were in the pretties area!

The girls standing in front of the pretty stream, so happy to be playing in it!

Fine Dining!!

We loved having this bug tent.  No bugs and it kept everything clean and together.
The girls have begged and pleaded to go and they enjoyed every minute.  Jonas was even really good, slept well, and who cares if he throws up all over the dirt, no clean up!

4 months!

Jonas is already 4 months old, and he is one big boy!  We have an appt tomorrow and we shall see just how big he is.  Little Jonas has brought such joy to our lives!  I don't know if it's just knowing how fast babies grow up or what, but I am enjoying this time more than I think I did with the girls.  I love to watch him laugh and play, and I always want to just sit and hold my baby close.  His acid reflux is still really bad and he is on prevacid and zantac.  He is my hardest baby yet and wakes up quite a few times at night wanting to eat and nothing will deter him from getting his food (which makes a very tired mommy).  But, at the same time, he is so smiley and happy.
Don't you just love that face?!?

Green Dragons

Kiana's new soccer team - Green Dragons!  We love her coach, so for the third year in a row she has Coach Richard Harris and his assistant Coach Doug Call.  They are so awesome and really good with the kids.  We all enjoy watching her games, and each year she gets better and better.  Most of the kids on her team have also remained the same and so she is becoming pretty good friends with all of them!

Jonas watching the game intently with G-ma Barb!
Maile keeping out of the sun.

Jonas and G-pa Keith!

Maile thinks she needs to be in every picture!

Kiana and Coach Call.
Grandpa Keith pays Kiana for each goal she makes, I think we need to start saving more money for her ;-).  Let's build up our savings account.  Go green Dragons!!

Palmer Family Reunion

I love my family and I love the chance to just hang out with them.  My mom's side of the family had a reunion at this cool Castle Park in Kaysville.  It was so nice to see everyone especially since I only see some of them once a year at this reunion.  Actually, I like when we have the overnight reunions when there is more time to hang out.  It just seemed to go by too fast to talk to everyone.  We ate yummy food and played a game about who knew our grandparents the best!
