7 peaks

School started on a Tuesday this year, we decided to take the last Monday and make one more run to 7 peaks. Steve had off and Kiana was so nervous to be at school all day, we decided to go have some fun. We have really enjoyed the pass of all passes!

Park City Week

Steve's parents have a timeshare in Park City that we get to go to every year.  The week before school started, we got to go relax and swim and enjoy the end of summer!  I got some clearance shopping done at the Outlet's, the girls loved swimming every day, and I think Steve and Jonas just enjoyed some quiet time.  The 2 hard things of the week, the fridge in the hotel stopped working, ruined all our food, and stunk so bad, it was gross but another reason to eat out!!!  It was also hard for Steve to sleep in the small room when we were all there.  I would take the girls swimming in the morning and leave Jonas with Steve for the morning naps, we would then all take afternoon naps, and I would try to leave in the evening so he could sleep more, I don't know if all those times added up to enough sleep ;)!

Good way to end the summer before school started the next week!

The Show

My kids have become quite the entertainers.  The other day, we went to a friends house for dinner, they were so sweet to invite us!  Anyway, our kids and their kids play so well together.  That night they decided to put on a show for us, I think it was a circus show.  I snapped a few pictures, but unfortunately, my camera died after only 2.  It was a very cute show a lot of fun though!

Stansbury swimming

It seems like all we did all summer was swim.  This time it was for lessons in the beginning of August.  The girls really enjoyed their lessons and have learned a lot.  They have both done better this year and I am not so nervous to have them around water.
We had the lessons with a couple of friends which at least kept me entertained while the girls swam, I had people to talk to while we sat outside the gate watching, (or just chasing Jonas!!)  He was a little rounchy with a fever from ear infections but it did keep him sitting in my lap for a few of the days.
Kiana excited on the first day of lessons!

Maile was also thrilled!
The girls on the last day eating popcicles.

They have a few things to work on, so we will be repeating their classes next year!

Grandpa

Jonas has a special place in his heart for Grandpa.

I think all the kids have a special place for grandpa, but Jonas is even more particular with who he will go to, and he loves his grandpa.  He loves to follow him, hug him, and cuddle him!
