Hanging with Jonas
I am so in love with this little guy, I just want to eat him up. He is so happy and cuddley. He loves playing with toys now and has to constantly be entertained. Here my handsome boy is playing with a dog puppet he got for Christmas. I think he looks like a stud in his cap!

We're finishing "Looking a lot like Christmas"!
We had a very Merry Christmas! I loved going to church nice and early for Christmas morning. It set a nice tone and was a firm reminder to the kids that Christmas isn't all about the presents. We hurried and opened everything, broke away for Church, and then came back home to play with all the loot. The kids were eager for their presents, and I think Santa got them just what they wanted. We felt the love from family and friends and have definitely been spoiled. The trick now is finding a place or everything.
We spent Christmas day at my mom's with my family! We devoured a Christmas breakfast with waffles, crepes, egg casserole, hashbowns, fruit, sausage, DELICIOUS! Family makes holiday's more special. It was a nice relaxing day. We are so grateful for family, friends, and for the gospel. We are grateful for the life of our Savior and His perfect example. We are truly blessed!
Jonas loved the bright light from this light saber. It was just a cheap candy toy but has had hours of enjoyment!
We sure trashed the place.

Christmas Coats
Thanks Dad and Deb for the new coats. We now all have dress coats and need a family picture in them =). They will keep us warm for years to come!
2 down, 2 to go
P-A-R-T-A-Y that is! We had some fun on Christmas Eve with the Petersen Family. It is good to see family that we don't get to see that often. It is a tradition to get together every Christmas Eve (as far back as I can remember), and Melody is very accommodating to let us use her house (it is the only one big enough for all of us). We love family, we love to party, and we love food!
Lots of pictures = lots of fun!

Family Christmas Party
I just love the holidays, the family, the parties, and fun! It is so nice to see my aunts and uncles and cousins! My aunt always plans the food with the letter "S": soup, salad, sandwiches, soda, sweets! So yummy. We then played games and hung out, so fun. My Aunt Sandra and I put together a memory game like the baby shower games, but with Christmas words and you'd get candy according to your match. It went great, and I love that game. My other aunt also came up with some other games.

Christmas Eve Eve
For Christmas Eve we always go to a party for my Dad's side of the family and then there is not much time to read the Chistmas story from the scriptures or do family traditions. This year we planned ahead. We invited Steve's parents over for Steak dinner, watched some Christmas cartoons, read Luke 2 and told the girls the story of Christ's birth, and opened our Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve Eve. It was nice, relaxing, and unrushed. It was good to spend some time with Steve's mom and dad for the holidays. And it was great to do some of our own traditions with the kids!
All decked out in our jammies!
