Steve had off for two weeks when Jonas was born, and though it wasn't much of a vacation, we thought it might be fun for him and the girls to visit our local fun spots. Steven, his mom, and the girls enjoyed going to the Children's Museum and Chuck E. Cheese. They went bowling with my parents and Trenton for a Family Home Evening, and they went by themselves to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. They were also planning on the zoo, but Steve hurt his back, and I think he had had enough fun.

Steve always forgets to take pictures, so we didn't get many, though there are some on the phones. I'm glad they got to get out a little and enjoy the time off, I think it helped the girls with the transition with new baby too!

Thanks Daddy, we love you!

Kiana loves holding her brother!

Every chance Kiana gets, she is holding her baby brother. She tells me, "He loves me," or "He can only sleep in my arms." She is pretty soft and loving with him.
She does a pretty good job holding him, and will be even more help when he gets just a little bigger and can hold his own head up! We all love spending time with our sweet new addition!

SOCCER!!

I am loving soccer season. I love to be outside enjoying the weather, watching my daughter loving the game. She loves her team and has made so many friends. She has improved so much and made a few goals already this year.
Maile loves soccer. She can't wait until she can play!Kiana always runs with her tongue out, it is kinda cute, but hopefully she doesn't bite it off. She is doing so awesome! We love watching her!!

Fun Family Home Evening

A friend of ours told us how fun it was at the church musuem. They have a kids pretend area upstairs. We decided to try it for Family Home Evening though it is rare to have Steve off on a Monday night. We have been excited to go for a few months and finally got the chance, thankfully right before Jonas came.

This is a quilting area, teaching how quilts are made. They could put patterns together or us a rope to put in holes.
This is Nephi's boat. There was a portion to build the boat, and to steer it.They could also tell scripture stories with these wood dolls.
I think this was building the tower of babel. In this area, they had planting a garden and making dinner for the missionaries! You could also dress up in these colorful dresses and dance old latin dances that were shown on a video as you watched yourself in a mirror.

There was even more to do: writing on the gold plates, riding a bike, making necklaces. It was a lot of fun and kept them interested while we talked about things they had been learning in church.I have been really excited to show the girls the statue of Christ and have them listen to the message. We went in the Visitors Center, and the girls were aweful. They were running around and fighting and screaming. Needless to say, we took a picture (after a fight), and got out of there. I guess you can only expect so much, and it was getting late and they should have been getting ready for bed. The museum was great though, and perhaps another time we will have to visit the statue and other visitors center!

Family Birthdays

To the greatest grandpa in the world and the greatest Tia, Happy Birthday!! The kids adore their grandpa and have to call him and play with him ever day. He spoils the kids rotten. Tia Melody is just the coolest, and the girls always have to pretend they are her and "cut hair", since she is the only one that can cut hair. We love them and were happy to share their birthdays with them!!

Baby Ready

So many last minute things to do before the baby gets here. We had to move around the bedrooms, paint furniture, wash baby clothes, you know all those necessary things, but we had to fit in fun too!!

We had to pretty the toes. The doctor needs something good to look at!

We had to make a last trip to the zoo (I was hoping all that walking would put me into labor.)

And we had to get some last photos for memories sake. This is me at 36 weeks.

Now we are ready! He should be here soon.
