It is inevitable, we all get older. This year was easier than last! Last year, my birthday was a dud. Mu hubby didn't do a thing for me, no cake, no presents, no party, and believe me, I haven't let him forget it. Thankfully my friends had me over for a FHE and cake. This year, however, Steve made up for it. He got me great presents, had a huge party with flank steak and ribs, corn on the cob and ginger carrots, and yummy cake. He went all out and it was a great day. He got me a pearl necklace, skull candy earphones for when I work out, and a kindle. Loved the gifts. My parents gave me a gift card for the kindle, and my sister had a quilt made for Jonas' bed. It looks so good and is a little bigger so that he can use it for a long time. My other sister gave me a binder to help with emergency preparedness. I was spoiled!!

It's this woman's birthday too! I was born on my Aunt Sandra's 20th birthday. Good thing she is my favorite aunt.
The next day Steve took me out shopping, to eat, and Dondi watched the kids while Steve took me to Transfomers. It was a fun day! Do you think Steve felt guilty about last year??

i LOVE my Kindle but I seem to have a much messier house when I get a new book. So I can't buy another book until I get my house cleaned...
