Broken arm and ears pierced

Jonas broke his arm right before Christmas.  We choose a bright red cast for the holiday.  Thankfully, he only had to wear it about 10 days and then he got it off.  It was good timing since he had started hitting his sisters with it.

I don't think it hurt, he just didn't like the noise.

Kiana has wanted her ears pierced for a long time and we figured she was old enough to make her own decision.  Part of her Christmas present was earrings and going to get them pierced.  After Jonas' appointment, and Kiana's temper tantrum where she decided to get out of the car on her own, go back to the doctors and find her grandma that works there (and she got so lost in the hospital), we were finally on our way to the mall.

Once we got there and in the store, Kiana got too nervous and wanted to go.  She declared she had now decided to wait until she was eight.  Too bad, we were there and doing it!  She picked out some pretty pink flower earrings.  We had to wait for another girl to go first who cried and cried.  Once it was Kiana's turn, she told them to do one at a time and patiently waited.  Not a peep was heard from her.  She was so proud that she told everyone for days that she didn't even cry!  I think they look great.
