Family Pictures

My sister is out here from Texas and we took the opportuity to get Family Pictures. The only problem, Dondi's husband Jimmy is working out of town and is not in the pics. We had a great photographer, Shanalee Barker, and got them taken at Benson Grist Mill in Stansbury Park.

My sister's sealing

We had such a special day as a family to go to my sister Chani and her husband's sealing in the Salt Lake Temple. I am so proud of them and it was such a nice spiritual experience. It helps me remember my own wedding and I am so glad I could be apart of this special day. For some reason, each of my siters' and my weddings were freezing cold. This day was no exception. Pictures were difficult and then we had to race over to Olive Garden in the pouring rain.
My sister Angela and her son Braden came up from Texas for the wedding and so all of us were together, which hasn't happened in awhile. The kids have had a blast playing with their cousin and we were able to do the professional family pictures (soon to come). The picture below is missing one of my sisters. Yes, my parents were blessed with 5 girls!!.

Goodbye Soccer

Kiana finished soccer for the season. After her broken foot healed, she was only able to play about a month, but she enjoyed every minute. She has such and awesome coach and some really great friends/teamates, we had to recommend him for next season too.
Kiana's coach had a big soccer party with lots of food and fun. They also handed out the trophies and water bottles, which Kiana proudly had to show off. I am glad Kiana got to experience this.

Hogle Zoo

We finally got a family pass to the zoo. I have wanted one for awhile so the girls could go and enjoy the animals. They fight right in with the apes, don't you think?? ( Pictured above) I had this bright idea to go on Memorial Day since everyone would be camping and we would have the place to ourselves. I was wrong, they said it was their busiest day, so it was crowded with no where to park. It was hot and crowded, but we still had a good time. Our pass allows someone to come with us, so if anyone wants to tag along, let me know.
On Memorial Day, Dondi got to tag along with us and her friend Kendall came too. In many of the pictures, Keeley and Maile have fallen asleep =)

I sure have some cute girls.

Maile is sleeping in our overflowing stroller. Good thing we have strollers. Where does everyone else carry things? The girl holding Keeley is Kendall. She was a fun girl.

These wolves were fighting over dinner. I think it was a rabbit. Whatever it was, it was nasty. They have like 4 tigers now. Did they always? I only remembered 1. Of couse, even with 4, they just layed around. The carousel is the girls favorite part. They were so excited to ride on this and pick their animals. Maile got a polar bear, Kiana was so kind and gave up her tiger to someone else to be on the ever popular boar!!And this is Zuri, the new baby elephant. She is so cute. It was so crowded, we couldn't get to close or watch the feedings or anything, but hopefully with our pass, we can do it next time. This orangatang was so funny and was right up againt the glass. The girls gor a kick out of him.We had such a good time and hope to have many more fun experiences throughout the year!

Wisconsin

Steve went to Wisconsin for his cousins wedding. We couldn't all go, but thought it was important for him to go. He could only go for a few days since he had to get back for school, but I think he enjoyed himself. He isn't very good at taking pictures, but here are a few he took.

Steve's cousin lives in a small town and called Cable and she is a museum director there. This is her museum. If you know my husband, you know that he loves goats. I guess that explains te above picture.

This is the happy family that had the wedding =)

This is the gorgeous view Steve had from the room he was staying in.

While there, Steve made some good friends. I guess the bat likes to hang out in his uncles patio furniture. With all the wildlife there, I am surprised these were the only things the only things he saw. Hopefully, we can all go back to Wisconsin soon and stay awhile. I hear it is beautiful.
