Easter

Easter kind of crept up on me. With it being on Conference Sunday, I didn't even realize it was so close. I wanted the girls to understand the significance of the day and pulled them aisde the night before to talk about Jesus and his life, death, and resurrection. I am so grateful for teaching moments, and though they might not get a lot out of it, I sure do.
Daddy had to work the night before Easter, so as soon as he got home, we all snuck down to see if the bunny hopped by our house (Every night Kiana still says in her prayers that the Easter Bunny should come and hide eggs...haha, don't know if she got much out of our lesson!)

Maile has such a fettish with shoes and purses, just like her mom. These are her new Easter shoes! Here the girls are in the new spring dresses. It is so hard to get them to both cooperate for a photo. These are the best we could get.

I thought that the girls needed to know a little more about Easter, so the monday after, we focused our FHE on Christ and his resurrection (since I previously dropped the ball). I am very grateful for all the wonderful Conference talks that reminded me of our Savior. I loved that we could rest all day and enjoy Conference and hear the prophets as they forcused on our Savior. We are so blessed to have the gospel truths and guidance in our lives, and I hope that I can teach that to my children.
