Birthday

I now have a 3 year old and a 3 month old. Kiana turned 3 the other day. I can't believe it....it seems just like yesterday that they put her in my arms. She is such a big girl now. She tries hard to be so nice to her sister and do everything that mom does. She likes to rock Maile, and play with her. She wants to feed and burp her own baby. She is also potty trained..yeah, for me!

Her birthday was a busy day with me being in charge of the primary program, and all our family was out of town, so we decided to go to the zoo on the 27th. She had grandma and grandpa's, aunts and uncles, and many cousins come. She loved being the center of attention. We ate pizza and icecream, and had a Nemo cake. We had fun looking at the animals, and she enjoyed riding on the carousel. I think her favorite animals were the monkeys.

We were watching my Dads dogs at his house for a few days, and Kiana totally banged her head on my Dad's table and had two huge black eyes. The next day she ran into a armoir and

hit under her eye. Needless to say, for her birthday, it looks like I beat my daughter with two huge black eyes. And to boot, Kiana bit Maile on the face and she had huge red teeth marks too. The joys of motherhood (though I wouldn't change it)!!
