Dinner in the Canyon

We haven't been able to get out and camp this year, and we've been missing it. Steve has been getting so much overtime and rarely a day off, that when we had one, we called some friends, and headed to the canyon, even if it was only for the night.

We made some hobo dinners (tin foil dinners) that turned out so good. Steve just threw some chicken, vegetables, potatoes and some cream of chicken in the tin foil, yummy! We also enjoyed some smores. Can anyone go to the canyon without smores? It was a perfect night with good food and good company. A deer also came through our dinig area and we got some great pictures of him. The girls enjoyed seeing the deer, a snake, and a mouse. I don't think they enjoyed the mouse, but they claimed they saw it and were then afraid to go potty! We all missed Kiana who was on vacation with my parents. We are grateful for the Jowers' Family. We enjoy spending time with them and our kids are such great friends and we can all enjoy our time together.
