Kiana's graduation

Kiana has been doing a program called Upstart. It is amazing and she has learned so much. It is all done on-line and she has to do it 15 mins a day, 5 days a week, though she would usually do it close to an hour. We have loved the stories and the songs and the fun, but it all had to come to an end, Kiana graduated!

We loved the songs so much that we had to buy a CD of them. They had Kiana take a test and then we enjoyed some goodies. The program uses some squirrels named Rusty and Rosy and they teach you to read and do math and science with you. Here is Kiana pictured with Rusty and her diploma. Maile also had to get in on the action.

After her graduation, we went out to eat at Cafe Rio with family and on the way home Kiana was so excited to see a double rainbow. By the time I took the picture it had faded, but it is still pretty!
