Friend BBQ

Steve's friend from high school, Hyrum, was here visiting from Washington D.C. due to a death in the family.  He got a few of his old high school buddies together.  We met at a park in Magna, why Magna, don't ask me.  It wasn't too bad and the girls had fun.  There were a lot of kids there though, and a few kept coming and asking for food.  If you recall in my last post about my fight with a tongan lady, it was the week for fights.  I now decided to take on a hispanic lady.  Now I really don't know what happened, I was visiting with friends while the girls played, however, Kiana came over a few minutes later with her face covered in scratches.  She had been playing with some kids and their dog and she was taking the dog back to the owners.  A little 3 year old, who was with the dog tried to take it from her.  I think Kiana thought she needed to help so the dog didn't get loose.  The girl was not having any of it and clawed Kiana pretty good, so Kiana pushed her off.  Anyway, the mom felt it was necessary to come and tell me off.  I kindly explained that my almost 7 year old daughter doesn't just beat little kids up and that she was obviously the one with the scratches all over her face and that she needed to keep her kid away from mine.  It was intense for a minute, and they talked badly about me and then left.  I promise, I am not going around trying to pick fights, however I will stick up for my kids!  So hopefully next you run into me, I will be in a good mood ;)!!

I think Steve enjoyed visiting with friends he hasn't see in years.  There was Steve Seals and his girlfriend and puppy, Bill, wife, and their daughter, Hyrum, and us!  Hyrum also made an amazing burger, but sadly no condiments.  It was a fun night though (minus the altercation)!
