Bouncin' Party

For Maile's friend party, we rented a bounce house from Jumpin' Jack Splash. It was a good idea, but a bad day for weather. Somehow we timed the party perfectly with the bad weather!! I think the kids still had fun, though we had a wet, soggy mess.  There was wind, there was rain, there was hail, there was lighting, there was thunder, and there was a little of the desired SUN!

 About this time, it started pouring.  It got rainy, windy, and we thought we could deal with it until it starting hailing.  Then kids got scared and I was rushing them into the house when the bounce house fell and deflated and a child got trapped.  I had to duck in and pull him out, get all our things in and continue with the party soaking wet.  We decided to open presents while we waited.  Maile got so many cute things from all her special friends.  We have some awesome neighbors and friends!!

 Then the sun came out and we were able to return outside though a little windy!

Trying to get some sun!  One of these girls got stung by a wasp which was brought in the house in a towel.  I think after a little water and baking soda, she was good as new!

We dipped icecream sandwiches in sprinkles for our treat and had capri suns.  It might have been a little cold for icecream.

I think even with the nasty weather, we had a good time, just a little stressful.

Maile is thinking it is great to be 4 and has been spoiled by so many loved ones!
